Vetericyn VF Plus Antimicrobial Otic Solution For Pets
Vetericyn Plus VF Otic Cleanser uses hypochlorous technology to properly clean and debride the outer ear and canal of dirt and debris buildup that commonly causes ear ailments. As with all Vetericyn Plus products, it is completely safe if licked or ingested. Unlike other ear care products, which may contain alcohol or steroids, Vetericyn Plus Ear Wash is non irritating and inhibit healing. The Hypochlorous Technology in Vetericyn Plus VF has been shown in studies to promote healing environments thus helping to decrease the incidence of recurrent infection.
Benefits
Formula is pH balanced and does not irritate inflamed ears so animals do not resist treatment.
Contains no steroids, antibiotics, or alcohol.
Using Vetericyn prior to other medications helps prep otic tissues, thus allowing medications and other treatments to work more effectively.
Directions For Use
Remove excess hair from affected area. Clip if necessary. Adjust dropper nozzle. Saturate the affected area on or in the ear with Vetericyn Plus. If dressing is required, saturate dressing with Vetericyn Plus at each dressing change. Repeat 3-4 times per day until wound is healed or per treatment protocol. Use with ruptured tympanic membranes should be under veterinary supervision.
Dogs are more prone to ear infections because of the shape of their ear canal. Their ear canals can hold in fluid, trap moisture and therefore cause infection. Ear infections in your pet can also be caused by allergies, skin conditions, excess wax, or spending a lot of time in water.
