As a general guideline, apply twice per week in wet conditions and less frequently in dry conditions.
  2. For White Line Disease:
  • Barefoot horses: Hoof should be dry and clean before application. Apply directly to white line area and into any hoof wall defects. Re-apply twice per week.
  • Shod horses: Hoof should be dry and clean before application. Pull shoes and apply directly to white line area and into any hoof wall defects. Re-apply at each shoe reset. Life Data® Hoof Clay® can be used routinely under shoes as a White Line Disease preventative. Driving the nails through the clay protects the holes from becoming entry points of microbial invasions.
