The long hair tool is best for coats that are two inches or longer. The short hair tool is best for coats shorter than two inches.
2. What weight class is each size brush recommended for?
The Small tool is 1.75 inches wide and is suitable for dogs up to 20 pounds. The Medium tool is 2.65 inches wide and is suitable for dogs 21 to 50 pounds. The Large tool is 4 inches wide and is suitable for dogs 51 to 90 pounds.

This deShedding tool is only for dogs with an undercoat. Most poodles do not have an undercoat.
6. Does it help to spray with water?
Undercoat deShedding can be performed at any time on a pet with a completely dry coat, but for best results it is recommended to be performed immediately after washing or drying.
7. How often can you use this?

8. Is this good for a long haired Saint Bernard on getting mattes out of fur?
