Directions For Use

For the removal of large roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms in adult dogs or young dogs, weighing more than 25 lbs., administer these tablets according to the weight of the animal. Weight determines number of tablets given to dog.

1. Is this product made in China?
Sentry HC WormX Plus 7 Way Medium & Large Dog De-Wormer is made at Virbac Animal Health in Bridgeton, Missouri.

2. If the package has only 6 tablets, do I need to purchase 2 packages to complete the 7-day treatment?
This package contains 6 chewable tablets. Each treatment will provide up to 30 days of protection and should only be given once. We recommend following the feeding guidelines to find the correct treatment dose for your pet. Any remaining tablets should be given if another treatment is needed after 30 days of first treatment.

3. How often do you give this to your pet after the first dose?
This dewormer is a one time use and offers 30 days of protection.

4. Will one weight-based correct dose eradicate the worms? If so, how long til worms and eggs are passed? If not, how many doses over what amount of time is needed?
One dose of this de-wormer is the dog’s recommended monthly treatment. Within 24-48 hours you should notice an increase in your pet's stool. After dosing, your dog may expel more worms in his stool than before. If you need to retreat your dog, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian and have them perform a fecal test on your dog, to rule out any other issues.

5. Does this medication cause loose stools/diarrhea?
Do not use in sick animals. Vomiting, loose stools, and decreased activity have been reported with use. We recommend speaking with your veterinarian if any symptoms occur.

6. What other worms does it kill
This dewormer treats and controls: two tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum and Taenia pisiformis), two roundworms (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina) and three hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense and Uncinaria stenocephala). It contains two active ingredients found in veterinary brands: pyrantel pamoate and praziquantel.

7. How many milligrams of pyantel pamoate and praziquantel are contained in each chew?
Each chew contains 114 milligrams of pyrantel pamoate and 114 milligrams praziquantel.

8. Does this require a prescription?
This product contains veterinary-grade active ingredients without the need for a prescription.

9. Does this also kill heartworms?
This de-wormer is designed for intestinal worms and is not effective against heartworms.

10. Is this a two pack of two or a one pack of two?
This dewormer contains two chewables.

11. How fast does the Sentry HC WormX 7 way dewormer work?

This treatment removes hookworms, tapeworms, and roundworms.

13. It says flavored, what flavor is it?
This dewormer is pork liver flavored.

14. Can this be given to a puppy?
This product can be used on puppies 12 weeks of age or older and weighing no less than 25 pounds.

15. Does it get rid of any tape worm eggs too?
This product does not kill eggs.

16. After given your dog the de-wormer do the dogs needs to be put up in your house??
It is not required to keep your pet indoors after being treated.

17. What weight does one pill treat? It just says “over 25lbs”, it’s 25 to what weight?
This product is for medium and large dogs weighing greater than 25 pounds. 1 tablet is suitable for dogs weighing 25 to 50 pounds.

18. Can I give another dose if I shorted the weight on the first dosage?
The correct dose should be given once. We recommend speaking to your vet if the incorrect dose is given.

19. Can it also be given to my cat
This is only to be used for dogs.
